In 2009-2010 JSC “BrigRetail” fulfilled the project on SAP module development and implementation for debts collecting department (DCD) of JSC “Ukrsibbank”. The module’s name is “Distressed assets management system” (DAMS). This module allows employees of DCD to receive the necessary information on credit files of the bank clients and also to keep the history of work with distressed assets on an operational basis, which in turn optimizes and improves efficiency of Bank’s work in general.
The decision to develop the module was due to the fact of absence of similar or analogical software solutions in the IT market. Having used “DAMS” employees of DCD began to solve the existing problems of the department more quickly and with higher efficiency.
On the daily basis, employees of debts collecting department faced with inconvenience of a large paper document circulation, namely, credit files, which typically were kept in various branches of the bank.
Receiving credit files from other branches to be included into the workflow could take several days? Thus it caused employees of DCD to miss the deadline set for the work on files completion.
Therefore, the main task for "BrigRetail LLC" became the creation of the tool for employees of DCD which would allow them to extract from archive and work on documents in a convenient and quick manner.
For this purpose, in parallel with development of the “Legal module” (based on SAP and EMC Documentum Solutions) the solution of “Customer Files Archive” was built, which in turn allowed solving all problems related to access credit files and receiving of the information needed.
The implemented project has enabled consolidation of the information and ability to trace the process of legal collecting of debts, to form documents according to specified templates on the stage of distressed assets processing, related to credit files, using the archive of these files. Timely informing of the executor on dates of court sessions and other events, the need to prepare a corresponding package of documents has became one of the functions of “Legal module”.
The implementation of “DAMS” has allowed optimizing and raising an efficiency of providing the information on credit files and the whole bank to the employees of DCD. Also it becomes possible to improve the promptness of the registration of documents creation and transfer. To attend the courts and executive agencies, it became possible to perform the real time analysis of process of work with troubled debtors and to reduce the labour intensity; hence the labour costs of the bank’s staff.
